Hi Sandra, I am not following the JORDAN line either, but there was a JORDAN through marriage in my line. I don't have much but this is all I have, hope it holds a clue to someone for you. James M. WRAY, b. May 3, 1794, married Mary Agnes BAGWELL, b. Aug 6, 1822. Mary was the widow of Richard JORDAN, and had a son by him named Richard W. JORDAN, b. Aug. 22, 1843, d. Jan. 15, 1870. James was born in Davidson Co, and I believe he died there....soooo I am going to "assume" he married Mary Agnes Bagwell Jordan there....I have no proof of any of this, other than family info passed down to me.
