I am searching for parents of John Pinkerton, b abt. 1802, m. Sophia Lile. Thus I am looking for a "meeting house" in either Davidson or Williamson under auspices of William Hume from 1816 to abt 1836. Where is it? Sarah, wife of Joseph Pinkerton is buried there. There are two Joseph PINKERTONS on the 1820 Census for Davidson. One is the husband of Sarah. Does anyone know how the other Joseph was? He waas between 26-45, had one son between 16-26, 2 females 10-16 & 16-26 and 2 other females bet 26-45? I am trying to prove that this man is the father of John PINKERTON, but can find no records.
