I am searching for the parents and siblings of Thomas Houston BURNETT b. 1813 possibly in Davidson or Wilson Co. TN. He moved to Williamson Co. IL about 1838 and married Nancy Caroline PARKS(b.1822) in Williamson Co. ILL. on 12-25-1841 and died 1875 in Williamson Co. ILL. They had the following children: George M. b.1843, John Houston b. 1844, Felix M. b 1847, Elizabeth Jane b. 1848, Leander W. b. 1850, Lewis C b. 1856, William F. b. 1858, Sarah Ann (Sadie) b. 1862. The children were all born in Williamson Co. ILL. I am also looking for information on James R. BURNETT b. June 30 1816 in Smith Co. TN, married abt 1840 to Mary Jane MCMURRY. I think James and Thomas may be brothers. If anyone has any information that could help me I would love to hear from you. On an 1860 census for Williamson Co. IL, a woman by the name of Mary Elizabeth STALCUP age 78 b in NC is listed as living with Thomas and is buried near James. Her headstone reads "Wife of William".
