I have in my research library the "Marriages of Davidson County, Tennessee, 1789-1847" by Edythe Rucher Whitley, Copyright, 1981. I will be glad to check this book for listings if anyone has a question. According to Ms. Whitley, all of the early Davidson County marriage bonds and licenses were destroyed by fire, but the first two volumes of marriage registers, compiled from the original bonds and marriages are intact, although both are fragile and worn with age.
