Hello subscribers. I am new to the list and very much need your help. I am looking for a small town or community in Tn. My mother seems to think it might be in Davidson Co. near Nashville. I was told that my g.grandfather had lived there once when he was a child. He was born around 1872. Could someone please use this time frame and check about this area? I am also seeking any knowledge or possible leads of a George Cummings m. Mindie Cole. Their son John C. (possibly for Charles) was my g.grandfather who ran away from home around the age of 14 or 15 (b. around 1872). There is a possibility that he had a sister named Ruth and and/or other siblings. No trace has yet been found of this family. Our library has ordered the 1880 Tn. Soundex weeks ago but it hasn't come for some reason. I'd be very grateful for a look up on George Cummings and Mindie Cole. We have the Census so we only need the look up on the Soundex for Davidson Co as Social Security said he listed Nashville as place of birth. If anyone has even a hint of knowledge of my Cummings or Cole line I'd be happy to hear from you. Thanks for your consideration, Lynn
