I just found out that my ancestor was Samuel Phillips and wife Nancy who were early settlers of Davidson Co. Tenn. His son George Washington Phillips was born in 1816 in Davidson Co. Tenn. George married Susan Wright and had three children (including my Samuel Wright Phillips). After Susan's death, George married her sister Sophenia Wright and had several more children. Does anyone know about "Old Samuel and wife Nancy" of Davidson Co. Tenn? Please share-- Paula Mahan Strahan
