It was about 1815 that Paradise Ridge, on the outskirts of Nashville, attracted settlers. Uncle Bill Paradise had blazed the way, others followed. Two bro. by the name of Paradise, one being William Paradise, called uncle Bill, who was my 4th great grandgather, made their way to this section.
