    3. To: Kathleen Hill It would be nice to assume that William 'Henry' WRIGHTwas a junior but there is no indication that he is. In the 1860 census, William (b. ca 1836) is still living at home at age 30. He does not appear on 1870 census, so possible he died in Civil War. Since Marina's husband (James W. WRIGHT, b. 1791) died before 1870 census, she moved in with her son, Moses and wife who had two young children, I have to assume that Moses might possibly be the father of William 'Henry' WRIGHT. Then, in the 1880 census, she is living on a neighboring farm (next to Aron WRIGHT and George WRIGHT) and Moses is missing in 1880 census. I surmise she is living on Moses' farm. Later still, in the 1900 census, Marina is living with her son George WRIGHT and his family. These are my best 'assumptions' based on a process of elimination of the census records in Tennessee. I just hope to find some descendants of Aron or George. James C., another brother, also 'disappears' after 1860. I have a subscription to Ancestry.com. Thanks, Julia "Ancestry.com" <[email protected]> wrote: This copy of the 1850 Census of Davidson Co. TN, District 4, shows Marnia 36, b. TN, as the wife of JAS. W. WRIGHT b. NC, property valued at $2.500. Sons in the household include Moses, WILLIAM, Aaron and George. The 1850 Slave Schedule of District 4 of Davidson Co. shows that James Wright owned 5 Slaves: 3 females ages 50, 11, 8; 2 males ages 30 and 18. 3. If your William was born in 1867, then his father could not have died in the Civil War, which ended April 1865. Perhaps Moses and Rachel were his parents. Good luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Athena, Goddess of War" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 01, 2007 10:34 AM Subject: Re: [TNDAVIDS] Kathleen Hill has sent you a census image for ourancestor > To: Kathleen Hill > > It would be nice to assume that William 'Henry' WRIGHTwas a junior but > there is no indication that he is.
