To: Kathleen Hill, whose email addy was missing from this message: I don't know who William 'Henry' WRIGHT's parents were. This information that you sent me is a Great Possibility, since Henry named his oldest daughter Emma. I failed to find this particular family on the 1870 census on Ancestry.com - THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Apparently, there were -2- children, William WRIGHT, age 3 and Anna WRIGHT, age 5, living in Davidson County, TN - two different sets of parents! It is a shame that neither one of the census enumerators didn't include the middle name/initial of William (the son) on the page. It would have helped greatly. However, I am back to the same quandry. William and Emma WRIGHT do not appear on the 1880 census. I don't recall if I said so before - but I DO have Henry WRIGHT's death certificate. His wife died in 1922 and in his last few years of life, he lived with his youngest daughter in OK, who provided the information for his death certificate. 'Name of father' appears as 'Unknown'. Thank you very much, Kathleen! Julia in Idaho "Ancestry.com" <[email protected]> wrote: You didn't mention William's parents names in your message on the Davidson Co. message board. This 1870 Census shows them in District 13, with father William 32, b. TN, wife Emma 23, b. England, dau Anna 5, son William 3, and daughter Ida 8 months old. Also 2 servants.
