I am descended from John Stover, who married Kitty Garland in Davidson Co on 13 May 1817. They had a son named John Barnes Stover, b in 1821, and I've always wondered if there were a Barnes family close by for whom he was named. If anyone has any information on the Stover family of Davidson Co, I would appreciate hearing from you.
