I only found an obit for one Richard Johnson in 2006 and he died in Feb. Everyone doesn't have an obit these days, they cost a lot. Also if he lived in a community near Nashville, that has it's own newspaper an obit may have been published there and not in the Nashville paper. Nashville has only one major daily paper, the Tennessean. Go to tennessean.com, click obits near upper right corner. There is a search box on the page.
