    3. I think you've found him already! His title was Captain Edmund Jackson. I wonder if he served in the Civil war. But I think you've found my guy!....Any more info greatly appreciated.....Diane >>> [email protected] 12/8/2006 12:18 PM >>> Diane Evans <[email protected]> wrote: I'm interested in Edmund Jackson (my great grandfather) who was buried in a Manleyville cemetary near Nashville. My grandmother (Sarah Jackson) married Rush Clover in Paris. My father, Robert Edmund Clover, married Thelma Arnold (from Bellbuckle) and they are all buried in the Maplewood Cemetary. My great uncle, Thadeus Jackson and his wife, Alice are there too as is my great aunt Louise Butler. If you've got any info, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks........Diane Hi, Diane; There are a LOT of Jackson's buried from the McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris. It will take me a while to look at all of them, but I'll go through them today. Also, one of my aunt's, now age 90, lived in Manleyville and it's actually not far from Paris. Here's the first one I've found. "JACKSON, Captain Ed -d- May 24, 1904; Carter House, POaris; Age 74 yr.; Widower; Bur. Manleyville, Tenn.; Ord. by Thad Jackson & his 2 sisters." Will forward more as I find them. 1. [TNDAVIDS] JACKSON - CLOVER records

    3. Hi, Diane; Glad I could help. If you write to McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris, TN and request copies of the burial records, you may find more information than what is provided in the funeral home book. They are really great about assisting in searches and you might want to forward a self-addressed stamped envelope. I still haven't looked in the Ridgeway book, but I'll do that as soon as possible. Best wishes, Virginia Diane Evans <[email protected]> wrote: I think you've found him already! His title was Captain Edmund Jackson. I wonder if he served in the Civil war.
