I am new to this discussion group and am seeking anyone who has access to the marriage records from around 1800 forward. I believe Thomas Grant and Sarah Glover may have married in Davidson County around 1800, as their first child was born about that time. The part of Davidson County they lived in became Williamson County in 1799 and Maury County in 1807. If you have access, would you check to see if their names appear in any of the records? I guess it is not out of the realm of possibilities that they could have been married somewhere in North Carolina. Some of my notes and those of others, suggested they married in Maury County, but that it is not possible due to the county changes around that date.
