    1. Re: [TNDAVIDS] Campbell family
    2. I'm sorry Kathleen I mistyped. Gov. Campbell was the father in law of Rev. David Campbell Kelly. Campbell was governor 1851-1853. [email protected] writes TWO questions 1. When was William Bowen Campbell Governor of TN? 2. Is the Rev John Campbell Kelley that you refer to the John Kelly, 1801-1864, son of Dennis Kelley and Elizabeth Thompson, husband of Margaret Lavinia Campbell, 1805-1877? The John Kelley in my question is another of my great, great, etc uncles and I do not have his wife's parents in my data files. 3. I am guessing that my grandfather's first cousin Dr. David Campbell Kelley Binkley was named for Rev. Kelley. He was the son of Joseph Shackleford Binkley and Martha Buchanan Steele, who lived in Davidson County near the Wilson County line. Dr. Binkley, who was born in 1857 and who died in 1928, practiced medicine in Humphreys County. 2. Gotta get my info out and go over it again, Mike. As I told Sherry, it's probably been a couple of years since I researched this line along with some other "cousins"...had a computer crash, too, and haven't reentered it all into FTM yet. :( I'll look through the section in my binder and my file cabinet folders and see what I have of interest and in the way of documentation. I don't recall that I ever found a marriage record and Granny supposedly came from Surry Co. which isn't far from where I live. I think the link was through the son, John, who claimed Zachariah's land. Donna ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
