    1. Davidson Co, Praters!
    2. Brant Boner
    3. Brant Boner@BSSBNOTES 02/18/99 01:32 PM I am looking to find the lineage of Robert Prater. My grandmother was told that Robert Prater (b. May 1871) was born a Literal / Littrell, and that at some point he moved in with his aunt who had married a Prater. Robert then took the surname Prater, though he had a good relationship with his own family. Robert Prater married MAGGIE COOK on May 1, 1887 in Davidson Co., TN. William H.B. Hill performed the ceremony. Robert and Maggie's children were: Samuel (Sam - my line) b. Feb 1888, Sarah, Georgia, and Mary. Does anyone have any Praters or Literals/Littrells in Nashville or Davidson CO., TN that Robert may be my Robert Prater's connection from sometime in the late 1870's or early 1880's? I'd like to get this settled. GOD bless!!! Brant

    3. I have just requested a lookup of the surname BOSWORTH in the Kentucky newspapers from an Internet site that is advertising free newspaper lookups for KY. They have only 7 counties indexed so far but will have all Kentucky counties eventually. They came back with a prompt answer - (3 items!) and a brief description of each. They are sending me copies for $2 each, which I think is real reasonable. They will send me the copies before payment too. Their address is: http://www.hindexing.com/ Jeanne Johnson (researching BOSWORTH and RYMAN) -----Original Message----- From: Jeanne Richardson <moon1874@hotmail.com> To: TNDAVIDS-L@rootsweb.com <TNDAVIDS-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Sunday, February 14, 1999 5:16 PM Subject: is this a ripoff? > > >I have seen advertised a service that does newpaperlookups for a given >name in a given state. 3. Thank you so much for the information on Mill Creek Baptist Church Graveyard.
