Buddy et-al, Thanks for the report. The SPAM detector at my internet supplier was blocking all my mail from the Cannon & Coffee lists. Not sure why. At any rate, I made a few setting changes & all is coming through OK. The Antarctic trip was postponed for 1 year (Jan & Feb 2005) due to local transportation problems in the Antarctic area. 15 people are going to Peter 1 Island. about 150 miles off the Antarctic coast. I am a Ham Radio operator, and we were going there for about 2 weeks to conduct some radio "tests". Actually it is a hobby. The island is unmanned & under the ice pack for several months per year. Jan & Feb is about the only time you can get close. Due to glaciers on the island and a sheer drop of 100 feet or so at the edge, the only practical way to get ashore is by helicopter. It is of course, a very rare spot on the globe. (and cold) The helo pilot doubled his quote to us at the last minute, and made the total cost of the trip way out of hand. We have found another group that have both their own ship and helo, for next year, at a much more reasonable price. So, every thing went into storage and we are awaiting next season. for more info on the island, here is a link to a group that went there 10 years ago. Be sure to check out both the photo links on the page........ http://ocean.otr.usm.edu/~gejones/3Y0PI.html Jess
