We found two TODD cemeteries in Cannon Co., when we did our Cannon Cemetery Book. http://www.cafes.net/jlewis/cembook.htm One is about 1.5 miles S. of Burt. Several marked stones and 50~75 marked with only a fieldstone. Another is 1.5 miles S.E. of Donnel Chapel, near the Cannon / Rutherford Co. line, back in a "hollow" and hard to get to. None found in Coffee Co., but there is one in Eastern Rutherford Co., beside Big Creek Church (along Hwy 99) The only "marked" Jesse Sissom grave that we found was the one that you found in the Sissom Cemetery (1817-18590 Jess Lewis
Hello to All, I am seeking ANY info on the RUBLEY/RUBLY/RUBLI family of the Coffee/ Franklin/Grundy Co. area. Charles & Elizabeth RUBLEY are believed to have first come to the area ca 1880 from PA where they had immigrated from Switzerland. My grandmother, Lena Rubley, was their dau b ca 1887 in Grundy Co. Lena married Frank SARTAIN in 1906.....and then my grandfather, Harvey Lee HARRISON 2nd. ..by or before 1919 when my father and his twin siter were born to Lena Rubley Sartain Harrison and Harvey Harrison. My father never knew his mother, Lena. or what became of her. The family is trying to find out now. Some questions I have: Did Frank SARTAIN and Lena RUBLEY SARTAIN have any children? Frank Sartain is said to be buried in Hobbs Cemetery..how might I find out the info on his stone? Is Lena RUBLEY SARTAIN HARRISON buried here also? Are Frank and Lena RUBLEY SARTAIN on the 1910 census in any of these counties? Is Lena RUBLEY SARTAIN HARRISON and Harvey HARRISON on the 1920 census in any of these counties? Are there any Rubley listings on the census 1880 onward in any of these counties? Any help with any of these questions would be soooo appreciated! Thanks so much!
