My husband and I are planning a trip to Manchester at the end of June to do research on his grandfather, William James Dursey TAYLOR (his parents are listed on his death certificate as William TAYLOR and Unknown THORP) and his grandmother Emma Lou LANCASTER who were married in Manchester on 25 December 1890. According to Emma LANCASTER's death certificate, she was born in Manchester 12 April 1874 - her parents were listed as John James LANCASTER and Mary Ann HODGES. We will be there for approximately three days (either Friday thru Sunday or Saturday thru Monday). I would appreciate receiving some information on research in that area - courthouse, library, historical society, etc. - their hours and resources available. Thanks in advance, Sondra
