I am looking for info on the Cobb line, any spelling of the name, that was in Franklin Co. that was shown on the 1850 census as KAB, Jesse. His actual name was Cobb and he was in the area that later became Moore Co (near Lynchburg) by 1832. He had sons George W., James P., Jackson Kenzie (a stepson), Isaac, Jesse G., Marion Rice. All were born in Franklin Co except for possibly the stepson, Jackson K. Jesse is believed to be the son of a Joseph Cobb, possibly born (Jesse) in GA.
