Ella was the daughter of Dr Amasa Manire who made tullahoma his home in 1897 and practiced medicine there. In the 1900 Ella was living at home with Dr Manire but was married by the time he applied for his confederate pension in Nov 1904. I cannot not find a record for this marriage . I feel that since she lived in Coffee she might have married there. As I found out the archives of coffee co are not in much in order and i have looked in the archives in the State archives but cannot find it. I have also explored Bedford Co since she grew up there and Rutherford since sometimes the counties overlapped I also have looked in the Davidson co since DeWitt lived in Nashville so did she after her marriage I thought that maybe some one with access to newspaper announcements in Tullahoma maybe could find a notice of some kind .
