Hello, No, I'm not a big dummy, just trying to learn the proper way to find records and their availability. Can anyone clue me in as to whether or not I can obtain, from the county, copies of death certificates, birth certificates and marriage licenses. I realize that each county had different dates on when they kept records. I want to find out if Coffee county will provide, of course for a fee, these possible records. I just want to find an e-mail or snail-mail address for the Clerk's office to learn the process of how to obtain them. I would rather provide fees to the county than to the state.
