I am still looking for Thomas Henry Keele, b. about 1838, m. 1st Celia Doughtery in 1858 in Coffee Co. 1870 Census they were in Robertson Co. with children: Martha, Frances, James, John, William Jerry, Marion Hester, and Bettie Keele. Thomas Henry, m. 2nd Mary McIntyre 1874, Montgomery Co. 1880 census for Montgomery Co. with all children and Charlie Edlin Keele, b. 1879. Have been told he was the son of William II , son of John I. Would like some proof of this. Faye Wilson Keele
Faye, I know it's been a while since you sent this email, but I thought I'd see what I could find. When I searched the 1850 Census records I found the following: 10th Civil District of Warren County, TN H.H. 1272/1272 William Keile 37 M b.VA Jane 39 F b.NC Lucy 16 F b.TN Marion 14 M b.TN Nancy 13 F b.TN Thomas 12 M b.TN Catherine 10 F b.TN Jane 7 F b.TN Lavina Usry(?) 66 F b.NC H.H. 1274/1274 John Keile 73 M b.VA Nancy G. Keile 73 F b.VA I checked both the previous and next pages of the census and didn't see any other Keile/Keele families. This info (if actually your family) supports the info that William is his father and John his grandfather. I didn't find this family in the 1860 Census even checking Soundex spellings of the last name. Maybe this little bit will help.
