Anybody have any ideas? Anyone researching Allens that might help? Through the process of elimination I have determined that William Newton Burke Married Eliza Allen in Cocke county, TN before 1858. Their first chiled Helen was born in TN in 1858 but we don't know where. I have heard that their was a court house fire in 187?. Eliza and Newton had at least 4 children in TN. The 5th child John R we are not sure if he was born in AR or TN.
