Hello Fellow Researchers, I'm hoping one of you may have a copy of the 1840 Cocke County census and are willing to look up someone for me. I am looking for information on Thomas Smith b. abt 1833 m. to Margaret (Mary) Cluck abt 1857. Thomas is listed in the household of Rev. Thomas Smith and his wife Mary. There are actually TWO children with the name of Thomas listed. I am guessing that my Thomas was a grandchild, or nephew because the Rev and his wife are in there 70's. If anyone has access to the 1840 census and can look up to see if there is a child by the name of Thomas Smith - about the age of 7 would you please let me know. Thank you so much for your time!!
