Here is a question for anyone who know. Somewhere in my notes it says that the Burkes and Mantooths lived in Sweetwater, Cocke County, TN however from the various census here is what I've found; 1850 District 11, Cocke County 1860 Taylorsburg Twp., Cocke County 1870 Newport, Cocke County I'm not sure about the spelling of Taylorsburg it was hard to read on the census. I'm pretty sure that John Burke and his large family weren't moving.
