Hello All, I received word this evening that the New Heritage Book WILL NOT be ready in time for Christmas. Because of the several delays on the publisher's end, they were forced to subcontract much of their work in order to attempt to get caught up with all of the customers they serve. As you can most likely guess by all the luck we've been having, our order was one of those that was sub-contracted out, to another publisher in Mississippi. The publisher there has promised for over three weeks to send the last draft to Joyce for finalization so it can be sent to on the printers, and as this date, Joyce has not received anything from them. Based on this, and the late stage in the game that we are faced with, it will not be logistically possible to have the books turned around from a publishing standpoint and ready in time before Christmas. I know how frustrating this is, and again I can assure you that Joyce, along with everyone else who has worked on getting this book completed, is just as frustrated as everyone else, but I guess this is how things go in the publishing business. I'm pretty sure however, that the finished product will make it worth the wait. Unfortunately, just as we can't change the forces of nature, we also can't change the slowness of those who currently have our book either.
