Rev. Floyd C. King, 76 CLAIRFIELD, Tenn. - Rev. Floyd C. King, 76, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at his home. Born Sept. 9, 1918, he was the son of the late Craig and Rosa King. He was pastor of Clairfield Missionary Baptist Church for 24 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cledis King; son, David King; two sisters, Edra Jones and Monie King; brother, Lee King; half-brothers, Clarence and Hubert King. Survivors include his five sons, Wayne King, Alan King, Michael King, all of Clairfield, Chris King, Anchorage, Alaska, and Steve King, Lexington, Ky.; two daughters, Shirley Dziadul, Speedwell, Tenn., Donna Hurst, Jellico, Tenn.; sister, Lillie Lane, Tazewell, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Vanessa, Connie, Amy, Jason, Joshua David, Sarah, and Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Scott and Evan; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clairfield Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Teague and the Rev. Horace Partin presiding. Music will be provided by church singers, Joyce Adkins and Boyd Taylor. Burial will be in Clairfield Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Creech Funeral Home, and from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Clairfield Missionary Baptist Church.
