From Thd Knoxville News Sentinel 6 Nov 2004 NEELY, MRS. DELLA MAUD COLE - age 89, of New Tazewell, passed away at her home on Friday, November 5, 2004. She attended the Fords Chapel Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a lifelong homemaker. Preceded in death by: husband: Troy A. Neely; parents: Sherman and Annie Edwards Cole; brothers: Ryburn, Walter and Quentin Cole; son-in-law: Billy Carmon; grandson: David Thomas Neely. Survivors include: children: Joe and Sammie Neely of Maynardville, TN, Doyle and Ethel Neely of Morristown, TN, Tommy and Rowena Neely of New Tazewell, TN, Janice Carmon of New Tazewell, TN, Jill and Bill Roberts of Cynthiana, KY; grandchildren: Doug and Cindy Neely of Blairsville, GA, Craig and Pam Neely of Clinton, TN, Louie Neely of Morristown, TN, Timothy Neely of Morristown, TN, Boyd and Alisha Neely of Morristown, TN, Jim and Johnnie Carmon of New Tazewell, TN, Sandy Rosenbalm of New Tazewell, TN, Angie and J.T. Coffey of New Tazewell, TN, Brian and Dawn Neely of Marietta, GA, Billy and Angie Roberts of Cynthiana, KY, Nickie and Doug Power of Cynthiana, KY, Troy Cole Roberts of Cynthiana, KY; great grandchildren: Andrea and Taylor Neely, Kaley Neely, Jessica and Emilee Carmon, Amanda and Kelli Rosenbalm, Thomas Ford, Kelsey, Kaylor and Tyler Neely, Shelby Roberts, Chandler and Corbin Power; sisters:Susie Keck of Crossville, TN, Edna Cook of New Tazewell, TN; brother: Arville (Doc) Cole of New Tazewell; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express a special Thank You to Louie Neely, grandson and loving caregiver. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday at the Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday in the Claiborne Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dallas Harrell and the Rev. Tim Drummonds officiating. Burial will follow in the Fords Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Fords Chapel Cemetery, c/o Paul Cardwell, 401 Cardwell Road, New Tazewell, TN 37825.
