Elsie M. Brackman, age 90, of Tazewell, was born May 29, 1914 and passed away September 7, 2004 at Claiborne County Nursing Home. She was a dedicated Christian throughout her life and was a captain in the Salvation Army Office. She traveled extensively in the Eastern and South Eastern United Stares in the 1930's and 1940's. she was born and raised and spent most of her life in Massillon, Oh. before moving to Tazewell. She was a faithful active member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by mother, Nora Moler; father, John Harmon; husband of 52 years, Henry Brackman; 2 brothers: Stanley Harmon and William E. Harmon; 3 sisters: Zella Harmon, Dorothy Harmon Brackman and Mary E. Backus. Survivors include her 2 daughters: Linda E.
