    3. Clyde H. Drummond, age 95, of Clinton, was born November 18, 1908 and passed away September 2, 2004 at Laurel Manor Nursing Home. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Oak Ridge. He was a retired sheet metal fabricator from Union Carbide in Oak Ridge. He was preceded n death by his parents: John and Maude Drummond; sisters: Oma Barton, Ethel Derrick, Myrtle Childs; brothers: Wade and Robert Drummond; daughter-in-law, Shirley Drummond. Survivors include his son, C.H. Drummond, Jr. and Carol Sue of Clinton; grandchildren: Teri (Carl) Hesselbach of Knoxville, Tina Drummond of Oak Ridge, Brian (Danyel) Drummond of Oak Ridge; step grandchildren: Tresa (Mark) Batson of Knoxville, Kara (David) Allison of Memphis; 4 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Neal Drummond; sister, Ginny Maude Stacks both of Atlanta, Ga.; numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of V.F.W. and American Legion. He loved sports especially the University of Tennessee ball games. He was Claiborne County Historian. He served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his father, Kyle Kivett; mother, Inez Jennings Kivett. Survivors include his dear friend who will miss him so much, Pauline Seal; extended family who love him very much; several surrogate grandchildren and great grandchildren; cousin, David Rose, Tommy Jennings, C.P. Redmon, Ann Snow, Marilyn Jean Miller and family, Betty Williams; several other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held 2 p.m. Friday, August 27 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. He was a member of the Carr's Chapel Church. He was preceded in death by first wife, Milda Capps Pierce; parents: George and Sintha Russell Pierce; sister, Lettie Beeler; infant son and brother. Survivors include his wife, Elsie Braden Pierce; daughters: Hester and husband, Jim Hurst, Wilma and husband, Pat McNew, Virginia and husband, Clay Fortner all of Speedwell; stepdaughter, Rebecca and husband, Brian Harp; stepson, Ricky and wife, Maria Braden all of Speedwell; sisters: Ruth Jones of Tazewell, Daisy Muncy of Sharps Chapel, Zettie Harless of Maynardville; brother, Fuller 'Joe' Pierce of Luttrell; nine grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He attended Tri-County Tech and was employed by ALBA-Health Inc. He graduated from West-Oak High School and was a member of Free Gospel Holiness Church since May 1998. Survivors include his mother and stepfather: Teresa and Terry Ray Land; father, Larry Wayne Pridemore of Middlesboro, Ky.; maternal grandparents: Willard and Mary Lou Thomas of Cumberland Gap; brother, Tim Pridemore of Pineville, Ky.; stepbrother, Alan Land; sister, Renee Arthur and husband, Jeremiah of Kingston; two nephews: Jeremiah, Jr. and Joshua Arthur; numerous aunts and uncles; best friends: Lee Nance and Teresa James.
