I am posting this obit because I believe this gentleman may have connections to CC. Eugene R. Jones 09/24/2004 Feb. 23, 1932 - Sept. 22, 2004 Services have been set for Eugene R. Jones, 72, of Monroe who died at 7:51 p.m. Wednesday at Toledo Hospital. He had been in ill health since 1988. Friends may call until 9 p.m. tonight at Rupp Funeral Home. He will lie in state at 10 a.m. until services at 11 Saturday at Bible Fellowship Church. The Rev. Eugene White, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Andy Hill, pastor of Calvary Bible Chapel, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Born Feb. 23, 1932, in Monroe, he was the son of Herbie and Gladys (Pierce) Drummonds Jones. He married Marlene J. Mayes Dec. 27, 1949, in Monroe. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Ricky E. (Yolanda) of Toledo and Steven D. (Dawn) of Monroe; a daughter, S. Renee (Jonathan) White of Monroe; two brothers, Johnny R. (Judy) Drummonds and Jimmie K. (Cathy) Drummonds both of Monroe; a daughter, W. Faye (Jim) Fletcher of Monroe, and six grandchildren.
