From The Knoxville News Sentinel 16 Sep 2004 LYNCH, MR. LOWELL BOLTON age 61, of Tazewell, McWILLIAMS, MRS. MARY JO age 75 of Harrogate, TN, LYNCH, MR. LOWELL BOLTON age 61, of Tazewell, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2004. Mr. Lynch was a teacher with the Claiborne County School System for 30 years. He was a newly elected member of the Claiborne County School Board. Mr. Lynch was in the Tennessee State Legislature when they revised the State Constitution. He held several positions with the Tennessee Conservative Union. Mr. Lynch was a Delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1992. He was active with the Tazewell Jaycees for many years. Preceded in death by: parents, G. Ted and Maude Lynch; grandfather, Dr. George T. Lynch; aunt, Margineal Lynch. Survivors include: wife, Sylvia Lynch of Tazewell, TN; son, Michael Lowell Lynch of Knoxville, TN; brother, Roger Lynch and wife Darlene of Maynardville, TN; nephews, James Lynch, Bill Lynch, Robbie Thomas, and James Michael Thomas; nieces, Stephanie Sulfridge and Jennifer Sulfridge. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at the Claiborne Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 10am Friday in the Irish Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Overholt officiating. Pallbearers: Richard Beeler, Stewart Collingsworth, Hollis Bush, Keith Campbell, Mike Campbell, David Tripp. Honorary Pallbearers: Kelly Harrell, Lloyd Daugherty. MARY JO age 75 of Harrogate, TN, was born February 17, 1929 and passed away September 14, 2004 at the University of Tennessee Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harrogate, TN. She was a member of Nancy Hanks Society, Harrogate Garden Club. She was preceded in death by: her parents, A.L. & Flora Cook Owenby; and her husband Harry McWilliams, Sr. She is survived by: daughter & son-in-law, Carmalita Owenby of Maryville, TN; sons & daughters in-law, Owen & Darliss Owenby of Cumberland Gap, TN, Harry Jr. & Cathy McWilliams of Nashville, TN, Michael & Kristy McWilliams of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Paula Wright, Guy Snyder, Matthew McWilliams, Michael McWilliams,Jr., Christina McWilliams, Joshua Aaron Owenby, Madison & Morgan McWilliams: great grandchildren, Steven Wright, Stacey Wright, Aaron Snyder, Garrett Snyder, Owen McWilliams, Rebecca Grace McWilliams, Sydney McWilliams, Kirsten Clifford; sisters, Reba Lucas of Middlesboro, Ky, Marlene Earp of Ashville, N.C.; and a host of special cousins and friends.
