From the Knoxville News Sentinel 30 Sep 2004 DUNSMORE, MR. DEWEY AARON age 79 was born December 7, 1924 in Claiborne County, and passed away September 28, 2004 at his home. He was saved at age 18 and was a member of Meyers Grove Church. He was preceded in death by: parents, Robert Taylor and Mollie (Baker) Dunsmore; brothers, Rev. Lon Dunsmore and Rev. Louie Dunsmore; sisters, Mary (Dunsmore) Secrest, Mazie (Dunsmore) Widner, and Maxie (Dunsmore) Mink. He is survived by: wife of 50 years, Agnes (Cosby) Dunsmore of New Tazewell; son, Aaron Dunsmore and wife Cindy of Tazewell; daughter, Shelia (Dunsmore) Carver and husband Fred of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Amanda and Freddie Carver of Dandridge, TN, Joy, Sarah, Savannah, Logan, and Mandi Dunsmore of Tazewell; sister, Mrs. Don (Aljean) Day of Maynardville; a host of relatives and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2004 in The Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2004 in The Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Collins and the Rev. Coy Mink officiating. Music will be provided by the Dunsmore Family. Pallbearers: Scott Dunsmore, Johnny Day, Jay Collins, J.T. Widner, Mark Mink, Glenn Roark. Burial in The Fairview Cemetery.
