From the Knoxville News sentinel 21 Oct 2004 BAILEY, MRS. AGNES - 79 of Tazwell, DANIELS, MRS. RHONDA ALYSE BREWER - age 48, of Sharps Chapel, MAYES, MINNIE - age 96, of Harrogate, BAILEY, MRS. AGNES - 79 of Tazwell, was born October 10, 1925 and passed away October 19, 2004. She was saved at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving caregiver to many of her relatives. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Beulah Barton. She was preceded in death by husband, Dan Bailey; brothers, Dillard Barton, Sr., Elijah Barton, Edmund Barton and Clifford Barton. She is survived by daughter and son in law, Janet and Lynn Barnard of New Tazewell; granddaughter, Danielle Barnard of New Tazewell; sisters in law, Bobbie Barton of Bradenton, Fla., Ruth Bailey of New Tazewell; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2004 in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Lewis officiating. Music by Glenda Barton and La Honia Barton. RHONDA ALYSE BREWER - age 48, of Sharps Chapel, Tenn., passed away Monday, October 18, 20004 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Rhonda was a graduate of Horace Maynard High School in Maynardville, Tenn. and Lincoln Memorial University, School of Nursing in Harrogate, Tenn. She was an RN at Claiborne County Hospital for 25 years. Rhonda was a member of Straight Creek Baptist Church in New Tazewell, Tenn. Preceded in death by mother, Drama Dalton Brewer; grandparents, Willard and Relda Brewer; grandmother, Birdie Dalton. Survivors include husband of 28 years, Conrad Daniels of Sharps Chapel; daughter, Heather Daniels of Sharps Chapel; son, Eric Daniels of Sharps Chapel; father, Rondie Brewer of Sharps Chapel; brothers, Anthony and wife, Kim Brewer of Powell, Rick and wife, Joan Brewer of Speedwell, Tenn.; several brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. Rhonda was a quiet, kind, caring and loving person. Her member will be a treasure to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Daniels and the Rev. Matthew Jones officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2004 in the Christ Keck Cemetery in Sharps Chapel, Tenn.
