October 26, 2004 KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Ruby Moyers Kidd, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, was born in Speedwell, Tenn., on July 1, 1920, and went home to be with our lord on Sunday, October 24, 2004. She was a devoted member of Norwood Baptist Church and past member of Shipley Grove Church of God and The Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Melissa (Lissie) Price; husbands, James Woodrow Moyers and Kenneth Lee Kidd; daughter, Peggy Rhea Moyers; son Phillip Tyler Moyers; brothers, Milt Price, Lawerence Price, and Val Lee Price. The influence you had on all our lives will live on in our hearts for generations to come. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Lynda Moyers; daughter and son-in-law, Mona and Carlos Ramos; grandchildren, Melissa Moyers Qualls, Kristi Moyers Hodges and husband Kevin, Carlos Kenneth Ramos, Daniela Ruby Ramos, Cristina Isabella Ramos, Paola Ramos, and Pamela Ramos; great-grandchildren, Amber Nicole Qualls, Mark Allen Moyers, Michael Charles Moyers; brothers, Ulis, Clayton, and Allard Price; sisters Jewel Lovelace, Arletta Hatfield, and Lois Treece; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 26, at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Weaver Funeral Home with Dr. Nathan Livingston officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. in the Carr Cemetery in Claiborne County, Tenn., for an 11 a.m. interment service. Mrs. Kidd's nephews will serve as pallbearers. She was born in Jellico, Tenn., October 20, 1918. Preceded in death by her two sons, Jeff Cunningham and Terry Hendrickson; and two sisters, Wilma Parton and Juanita Harrison. Survivors include children, Lee Hendrickson and wife Virginia of Knoxville, Max Hendrickson and wife Carolyn of Harrogate, Tenn., Patty Sowders and husband Bill of Sandusky, Ohio, Lynn Daw and husband Stewart; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother Cecil Giles of Oak Ridge; sisters Billie Godfrey of Powell, Oma Kelley of Oliver Springs, Imogene Edmonds of Oliver Springs, Aileen Justice of Oliver Springs. Mason, 66, was called home Friday, October 22, 2004, in Tazewell, Tenn. Born in Jellico, Tenn., on July 14, 1938, she was preceded in death by her father, mother, two sisters, four brothers, and one granddaughter. Survivors include her husband, Charles Mason, Cumberland Gap; daughters, Cheryl Koralishn and husband, Robert, Cumberland Gap, Teresa L. Odom and husband, Tim, Orlando, Fla., Glenda K. Rowe and husband, Nick, St. Cloud, Fla.; three grandsons, Corey, Travis and Keith; one sister, Betty Hurst and husband, Ulyus, Fairfield, Ohio; nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. He was a deacon and Sunday School teacher at Arlington Baptist Church. He was a salesman for Chuck Mason Equipment and a former salesman for Wheels and Brakes for 35 years. Preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Pat Stubbs; sister, Mary Alice Andrenni. He was born June 16, 1927, in Blackstar, a son of the late Andy and Ellen Webb. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Virgil, Tilford, Milford, and Everett Partin Webb; sisters, Cora Webb, Ordra Cuel, and Hester Russell. Survivors include two children, Shirley (Charlie) Dummitt, Cumberland Gap, and Ellen (Jimmy) Dooley, Rogersville, Tenn.; sister, Para Webb, Napoleon, Ohio; grandchildren, Scott Dummitt, Estel Todd Dummitt, Jennifer Warren, Jessica Carnes, Danielle Carnes; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Dummitt, Devin Marcum, Amber Dummitt, and Rachelle Warren; and a host nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Providence Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Albright and the Rev. Murphy Buell presiding. She was a retired teacher in the Sullivan County School System, and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Charlotte Thompson Brittain; brother, Harold; sister, Wilma Greer; husband, Albert Bryant. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Rossalie and Clyde "Bud" Burke of Hazel Park, Mich.; sister-in-law, Vera Brittain; brother-in-law, Carl Greer, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; nieces, Carol Husband, Barbara Vigneault, Debra Hathaway, Linda Brittain Joines; nephews, Pat Burke, Dana Burke, Richard Greer; and several great-nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Coffey Funeral Home, Harrogate Chapel, with the Rev. Jonathan Hendrickson presiding. Music will be provided by Rev. Jonathan Hendrickson.
