Lister, anyone researching MOYERS, MYERS? reason i ask. is several years ago a cousin in KNOXVILLE was at his wife's uncle's funeral, the later Mr.GRAVES. he got to talking with a lady.her last name was MYERS. she said way back it was MOYERS. her line dropped the O because it and MOORE sound almost alike. in the area of her family was some bad MOOREs they get in trouble with the law, seems they headed to MOYERS instead of MOOREs. so the O was dropped. has anyone found this to be true?. as i research i'm beginning to think we are not MOORE. but soon we hope to do DNA. thanks Ray Moore.
