    3. Larry Wayne Braden, age 57, of Sharps Chapel, was born April 11, 1947 and passed away September 20, 2004 at Baptist Regional Hospital in Knoxville. He was a long time employee of Giles. He was preceded in death by parents: Earnest and Virgie Braden; son, Larry Wayne Braden II; brother, Doyle Braden. Survivors include his daughters: Anna Braden of Sharps Chapel, Lisa Moyers and husband, Michael of Speedwell, Linda and husband, Greg Combs of New Tazewell, Tara Farris of Monroe, Mi.; brothers: Onis Brantley of Speedwell, Lloyd Braden of Sharps Chapel, Wade Braden of Michigan; daughter -in-law, Amy Braden of New Tazewell; 9 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Brewer, age 83, was born December 1, 1921 and passed away September 19, 2004 at Claiborne County Hospital. He was member of Thompson Chapel. He served his country in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jake and Martha (Sproles) Brewer; brothers: Charlie Brewer and Arvel Brewer; sister-in-law: Gay Brewer; grandson, Brandon Runions. Survivors include his first wife, Tiney J. Brewer; their children: J. B. Brewer, Connie Brewer, Sheina Brewer, Reta Brewer, Shirley Sagstetter and husband, Richard; sister-in-law, Mardell Brewer; special ex-daughter-in-law: Nancy Brewer; second wife, Ginger V.L. He lived his life as a farmer in Hancock County. He was a recent resident of Hancock Manor Nursing Home and was saved in November 2003. He was preceded hi death by his parents: Lum and Doshie Brown; wife of 57 years, Mae Brown; 2 infant children; brothers: Luther Brown, Willie Brown, Jessie Brown and Hoy Brow. Sweet, age 81 of New Tazewell was born July 15, 1923 and passed away September 26, 2004 at the Claiborne County Hospital. He was saved January 1936 at the age of 12 at Carr's Branch Missionary Baptist Church. He was called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of 14 and was ordained to the ministry at Carr's Branch Missionary Baptist Church on February 18, 1951. Over his 60 years of preaching he pastored Missionary Baptist churches in Claiborne, Knox and Union counties. At the time of his death he was a member of Sugar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Lawrence; parents: Charles and Nola Sweet; sisters: Corn Hopson, Juanita "Flossie" Moyers and Hazel Sweet. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Vicie Alice (Weaver) Sweet of New Tazewell; daughters: Edith Brown and husband, Lincoln of New Tazewell, Edna Peck and husband, Jerry of New Tazewell, Evelyn Gent and husband, Charles of Kingston, Louise Hipshire and husband, Paul of Tazewell; sons: Jeff and wife Susie of New Tazewell, George Odra and wife, Lisa of Maynardville, Rome and wife Jewell of New Tazewell, Rev.
