    3. Cumberland Gap, Tenn. - William Paul Crawford, 85, born May 29, 1919, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2004. He was a member of Summey's Bridge Baptist Church. In his adult Christian life, he was a dedicated Sunday School teacher and music director. He retired from Ford Motor Company as a machinist. Prior to that he worked as a coal miner, He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Eva Russell Crawford; sons, Cloffas Thomas Crawford and Jerry Lee Crawford; daughter, Janet Louise Bennett; parents, Tom and Cora Crawford; brothers, Jim Crawford and Fred Crawford; sisters, Magie Barrnett and Mary Barrnett; son-in-law, Clay Mathis He is survived by daughters, Monetta (Crawford) Mathis of Cumberland Gap, Colleen and husband Darrell Dunnihoo of Hamilton, Ohio, and Dana and husband Doyle Smith of Hamilton, Ohio; grandchildren, Randy Wagner, Denny Wagner, Shelly Lee Bettle, Chris Bennett, Michell Bowling, Shannon Smith, and Steve Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hatfield and the Rev. Tommy Russell officiating. Music by Nevelann Barton, David Painter, Charles McMurray, and the Summey's Bridge Choir. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Randy Wagner, Denny Wagner, Chris Bennett, Steve Smith, Art Bittle and Jerry Bowling. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Claibome Funeral Home, New Tazewell, Tenn., which is in charge of arrangements. **************************
