Harley Ellison 10/27/2004 Nov. 6, 1918-Oct. 24, 2004 ALMA, Ark. - Services have been set for Harley Ellison, 85, of Alma, Ark., formerly of LaSalle, who died at 8:05 p.m. Sunday at Sparks Regional Medical Center, Fort Smith, Ark. He had been in ill health for a year and seriously ill since Thursday. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Fred Cornelius, former pastor of Church of God Mountain Assembly, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Born Nov. 6, 1918, in Speedwell, Tenn., he was the son of Hughie and Mae (McCarty) Ellison. He married Ruby Rushing June 16, 1979, in Monroe. Surviving are his wife; a son, Don (Bonnie) of Alma, Ark.; three daughters, Brenda (Richard) Burns of Powder Springs, Ga., Diane (Danny) Brasher of Alma, Ark., and Sharon Raymer of Monroe; a stepson, Michael Durham of Clarksville, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Mary Helen (J.W.) Brown of Dawson Springs, Ky.; a brother, Coolidge (Lillian) of Carleton; 13 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren, and a step-great-great-grandchild. *********End of obit
