He was saved at Leatherwood Baptist Church at the age of 15. Preceded in death by father & mother, Jacob Robert & Vanalee Collins, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, daughter in law, Judy Collins. Survivors: loving & devoted wife of 67 years, Myrtle Robinson Collins; son & daughter in law, Deloy & Priscilla Collins; grandchildren, Darin Collins of Maynardville, Tiffany & Tim Sharp of New Tazewell, Perry & Allison Collins of New Tazewell, Rev. Scottie & Nancy Collins Maynardville; great grandchildren, Ryan Sharp, Corey Collins, Caroline Collins, Trenton Bagley of New Tazewell, Joshua Collins of Maynardville & several nieces, nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Sunday night at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
