She was born in Speedwell. England, Gladys Evelyn (Jones) -of Powell, TN passde away October10, 2006 at NHC Knoxville. She was born October 27, 1915 to Samps and Lassie Hopper Jones. She is preceded in death by parents; sister Louisa Jones, Freda Hopson, and Josephine Pike; brothers, Roscoe, Jack and Albert; grandson, Reuben Greenwood. She is survived by daughters, Mamie Lee Loveday and Adrienne Easterly; grandchildren, Robert (Leigh), Yvonne, Michael, Bill Kelly and Gina; great granchildren Kevin, Michael, Wayne, Joseph, Levi, Soloman, Tovah, Kelly Ann and Bradley; great great grandson, Isaiah; brother George Jones (Barbara); sister Bertha Lindsey, Blanche Hill (Red) and Ellen Smart; sister-in-law Mary Jones; several nieces, nephews and cousins. We wish to thank the stall at NHC, Dr. Kimand Sullivan for helping us in so many ways and special thanks to the staff of Caris Hospice. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8 pm in the Fountain City Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home with Reverend Gregg Bostic officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday at Mt.
