COLLINS TERRY WAYNE FARMER RALPH HOPPER FOYE ELLISON LEONARD HERMAN MABE HOBART DALE MASON JEWELL MCDANIEL WILL BROOKS Will Brooks, age 77, of Tazewell, was born April 11, 1929.passed away Monday, September 25, 2006 at Claiborne County Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ardance and Etta Brooks; three sisters: Lucy Fugate, Roxie Young and Daisy Robinson; four brothers: his twin Willard, Clayton, Johnson and Lester Brooks. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife: Lillie Brooks of Tazewell; daughters and son-in-law: Phyllis Clark of Asheville, Nc, Roxanna (Phillip) Surritt of Frankfort, Ky; two grandchildren: Crissy and Dee Dee Clark of Asheville, Nc; and several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends; along with very special friend: Alice Ramsey. Funeral services were Thursday, September 28 at 3 p.m. in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Speaker: Dorothy Snodgrass. Music by Imojean Wilson, Fugate Family, and Dee Dee Clark. Collins, age 90, of New Tazewell, was born April 15, 1916 and passed away September 29, 2006 at Claiborne County Hospital. He was saved at Leatherwood Baptist Church at the age of 15. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jacob Robert and Vanalee Collins; five sisters; three brothers; daughter-in-law: Judy Collins. Survivors include loving wife of 67 years: Myrtle Robinson Collins; son and daughter-in-law: Deloy and Priscillia Collins; grandchildren: Darin Collins of Maynardville, Tiffany and Tim Sharp of New Tazewell, Perry and Allison Collins of New Tazewell, Rev. Scottie and Nancy Collins of Maynardville; great grandchildren: Ryan Sharp, Corey Collins, Caroline Collins, Trenton Bagley of New Tazewell, Joshua Collins of Maynardville; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends. TERRY WAYNE FARMER Terry Wayne Farmer, age 36, of New Tazewell, was born June 1, 1970 and passed away September 26, 2006 at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his father: Paul William Farmer; mother: Faye Shelton Nantz. He is survived by his wife: Chasity Farmer; seven sons: Paul Wesley, Floyd Franklin, and Terry Wayne II Farmer, Jesse, Ronnie, Michael, and Robbie Smith; three daughters: Brianna Paige Brooks, Audrey Faye, and Melissa Marcella Jane Farmer; sister: Linda Jane Combs Gulley; brother: Lewis William Farmer (Bud); nephews: Brandon Combs and Travis Farmer; a host of other relatives and friends; a special thank you to Hershel and David Bowen. RALPH HOPPER Ralph "Chicken" Hopper, age 67, of Shawanee, was born May 10, 1939 and passed away September 27, 2006. He was a former Claiborne County school bus driver, police deputy and local farmer. He had worked at Tunnel II package store for many years. He was preceded in death by his son: Jerry Hopper; parents: Laudie and Thelma Gent Hopper; sisters: Cozette Evans and Ruby Smith; brothers: Dorsie "Pete" Hopper and Ott Hopper. Survivors include his wife of 25 years: Margaret Schooler of Shawanee; son: Darrel (Bonnie) Hopper of Speedwell; daughter: Tammy (L.E.) Wilder of Harrogate; mother of his children: Sue (Hopper) Britt; stepchildren: Rick (Karen) Schooler of Gibson Station, Va, Regina Hoskins of New Tazewell, Wanda Mayes of Speedwell, Randy (Sheila) Schooler of Shawanee; grandchildren: Blake and Beth Hopper, Misty (Johnny) Hensley, Brent, Jason, and Chastidy Wilder; step grandchildren: Eric (Tarah) Rowland, Erica (Brandon) Campbell, Dustin (Megan) Hoskins, Jessica and Cyndi Mayes, Chris, Thomas and Taylor Schooler, and Chad; step great grandchildren: Halle Rowland, Camden, Emma, Gabriel, Peyton and Riley Wilder; sister: Tina (Virgil) Morgan of Speedwell; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a member at Calvary Baptist Church, and a life long resident of Claiborne County. He is survived by his mother: Opal Mason; father: Jack Mason; daughter: Jennifer; brothers: Boyd Mason and wife Linda, Danny Mason, Hollis Mason and wife Teri; sister: Janis Wright; girlfriend: Terrie Keeler; two grandchildren; and a host of other friends. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 3 at Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 8 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Partin officiating. Music provided by the Partin Family. The family will meet Wednesday, October 4 at 10 a.m. in the Turner Cemetery for burial. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth "Smokey" McDaniel; parents: Jepp and Martha Seals Shockley; one brother: Clayton Shockley.
