    2. Geneva Wylie, 94 Ray Oral Carver, 67 Geneva Wylie, 94 Claiborne County, Tenn. - Geneva Wylie, 94, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006. Born Sept. 4, 1912, in Claiborne County, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Minerva Baker Wylie. A member of Gap Creek Baptist Church and Claiborne County Retired Teachers Association, she had served as the librarian at Powell Valley High School for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Roger, Park, and Earl Wylie. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with the Rev. Clay Herrell officiating. Music by Kathy Chumley and Jane Cox. Graveside services wil lbe conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kibert Cemetery. Pallbearers are Carson Tuttle, Bob Tuttle, Danny Longworth, Charles Wilmoth, Gawain Pearman, Jim Weaver. Honorary pallbearer is Bob Carman. Ray Oral Carver, 67 NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. - Ray Oral Carver, 67, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at Claiborne County Hospital. Born Oct. 22, 1938, at Blackstar, Ky., he was the son of the late John and Cora Carver. He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde, Richard, Willard and John Henry Carver; two sisters, Mildred Weir, Ailene Long; and grandson, Jonathon Levis. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lawson Carver, New Tazewell; daughters, Nicole Carver, Harrogate, Tenn., Donna Levis, Wickson, Mich., and Celeste (Jim) Himonek, New Haven, Mich.; sons, James Robert Hurst and Donald (Jenny) Hurst, Harrogate, Tenn.; sister, Wanda Miracle, Taylor, Mich.; grandchildren, Joseph Levis, Kyle Levis, Makayla Branscomb, Casey Hurst, David Brummitt and Ariel Himonek; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Derwin Brooks, the Rev. Bob Ausmus presiding, with Bonita Summers signing. Music will be by Ben and Lavada Davis. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery at Harrogate, Tenn. Pallbearers will be Don Hurst, Joseph Levis, James Hurst, Junior Lawson, David Brummitt, and friends of the family. Honorary pallbearer will be David R. Brummitt. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
