Neither Claiborne nor Grainger census for 1820 survived. Seems like there was a fire, or something. The first census that's available for most of East Tennessee is 1830. If you know where they were in 1830, I can look them up for you. He would be 53 in the 1820 census. I would like the ages of people that was living with him at the time. His wife would be abt 37. I'm interested in seeing if there are any kids born between 1800 and 1810 living with him and his wife. I'm looking for a William Simmons in paticular and any of his sibblings. I'm thinking that the person who looked this up earlier gave me names, but I may be mistaken about that. > I'm sorry to have to ask this again, but I have misplaced the info received earlier. > Thanks Kyle > > > ==== TNCLAIBO Mailing List ==== > INAPPROPRIATE POSTS SUCH AS, PRAYER REQUESTS, VIRUS WARNINGS, POLITICAL MESSAGES, JOKES, etc., are grounds for your immediate removal from this list.
