    1. How Much Info to Include For the CC Library?
    2. We've had a couple of questions asking: > How much do you think would be appropriate to send.  > Would you advise including other TN county lines? > Both of us have a lot, so it could get pretty thick if we didn't have a cut > off somewhere.    > I think the real answer is: whatever you want to send and include. Remember this is your work and your family. Who knows how many new cousins you might "pick up" from researchers and visitors to the library!? One of the keys would be to include an index of names and some form of ID for each so they can be found easily in the research book. Be sure to date the material so that can be seen as well. (At some point you may want to send an update or "revised printing" or 2nd Printing, etc.) Often times there are visitors to Claiborne County who are at a "wall" in their research and are trying to make a connection from another county. Your info just might be the clue they are looking for. Think of it this way: you are the researcher. You come into the CC library not knowing if you'll find anything at all and then you spot this book (of yours) - how would you react? Probably: "Eureka!" Also, since the county lines crossed or changed over the early years makes it appropriate to include adjacent county information. Finally, if you are making copies, there are some costs to consider: printing, binding, mailing, etc. What can you afford or want to spend? (if you itemize your taxes this might be an item to consider as a non-profit donation deduction?) If it was me? I would send as much info as I could. I may want to include a "preface" stating what you are including and why. A short family story of your oldest CC Pioneer or how you came to be related to Claiborne County might be fun to read, as well. Remember how fun it is to read Old Time Tazewell and the Fulkerson papers? Let the creative juices flow in your presentation, but be as accurate as you can! Hope this helps some.
