(LOVE) age 50 of New Tazewell, TN was born August 21, 1954 and passed away January 27, 2005 at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Grandparents: Bob and Mimia Neely and Arthur and Tina Love. She was a very faithful member of Lone Holly Missionary Baptist Church where she served as assistant church clerk. She was a homemaker for more than 20 years before becoming business office manager of Claiborne Funeral Home. A director for a short time with C.E.A.S.E. A member of the Heritage Choir, Secretary of the Claiborne High School Band Boosters. She was preceded in death by her father: Thomas Love; brother: Larry Love; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Luther and Leatrice Shipley. She is survived by her husband of 29 years: Dennis Shipley of New Tazewell, TN; sons: Lance Shipley and wife Spring of New Tazewell, TN, Weston Shipley of New Tazewell, TN; mother: Imogene (Neely) Love of New Tazewell, TN; brother: Rick Love and wife Nancy of Tazewell, TN; sister: Jane Smith and husband Don of Old Hickory, TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Alvin and Martha Duncan of New Tazewell, TN; nieces and nephews: Sara Love and Gabriel Love, Benjamin and Taylor Smith, Paula and Bradley Duncan; and a host of many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Lone Holly Missionary Baptist Church, c/o Kathyrn Love at Citizens Bank, 130 S. Broad Street, New Tazewell, TN 37825. The family will receive friends 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral Services 2:00 PM Sunday, January 30, 2005 in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Baker and the Rev. Lonnie Dalton officiating. Music will be provided by David and Stephanie Cole. Pianist, Peggy Walker. Burial in the Irish Memorial Gardens.
