I'm researching the Clarkson/Claxton/Clarkston family in Claiborne and Hancock. I've gone just about as far as I can go without a family member there locally to talk with. Is anyone onlist doing any research on these families? Does anyone know someone locally that is interested in family history? I'm planning a trip back in the late spring/summer and would like to see if maybe they have any photos of my grandmother, Margaret Claxton Bolton. I'm also interested in old family stories. Also, in the "for what it is worth" category, my aunt had 6 toes and extra long thumbs that looked like fingers and also a double liver. She said that it came from the Claxton side of her mother's family and other family members had this too in that line. Does anyone know anything about that? Thanks so much. Bobbi Estes
