    3. Conda W. (Wade) Braden July 20, 1939-July 15, 2006 story updated July 17. 2006 11:03AM Conda W. (Wade) Braden Services have been set for Conda W. (Wade) Braden, 66, of Monroe, who died at 2:02 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for four months. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rupp Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. James Jacobs, chaplain at Mercy Memorial Hospital, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Born July 20, 1939, in Speedwell, Tenn., he was the son of Ernest and Virgie (Brantley) Braden. He married Ruth A. Polland May 14, 1966, in Monroe. Mr. Braden worked at Ford Motor Co.'s Woodhaven Stamping plant, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Monroe Aerie 2254, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Monroe Lodge 19, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He volunteered for the Monroe County Chapter, American Red Cross. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Ronnie R. (Caroline) of Knoxville, Tenn., and Conda J. (Julie) of Monroe; three daughters, Sharon A. (Scott) Smith of Florida and Diane L. (Tim) Ellison and Penny S. Braden, both of Monroe; two brothers, Tony and Lloyd, both of Speedwell, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Doyle, and two grandchildren, Ronnie Braden Jr. and Tammy Braden. Online condolences may be sent through www.ruppfuneralhomeinc.com.
