KENNETH VAUGHN - age 70 of Corryton, TN. formerly of New Tazewell was born December 27, 1934 and passed away March 1, 2005 at the Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. He professed faith in Christ at an early age, and was a faithful member of Watson's Chapel American Christian Church. He was a machine operator with the Claiborne County Hwy. Dept. He was preceded in death by: wife: Reba Keck Widner; son: Kenny DeLynn Widner; parents: Amos and Mazie Widner; sisters: Betty Sue Reynolds, Margaret Neely. He is survived by his wife: Hilda Cox Widner of Corryton, TN; daughter and son-in-law: Denise and Marvin Keck of New Tazewell, TN; grandchildren: Kimberly and Kevin DeLynn Widner of New Tazewell, TN, Lindsey and Lacey Keck of New Tazewell, TN; brothers: J. T. Widner and wife Mabel of New Tazewell, TN, Gary Widner and wife Marlene of Tazewell, TN; mother-in-law: Mrs. C.D. (Margie) Keck of New Tazewell, TN; daughter-in-law and husband: Betty and Doug Beeler of New Tazewell, TN; step-daughter: Melissa Ritter and husband Max of Washburn, TN; step-grandchildren: Anthony, Aaron, and Alicia Ritter of Washburn, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-9 P.M. Wednesday at the Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday March 3, 2005 in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dallas Harrell and the Rev. Tommy Russell officiating. Music will be provided by Lindsey and Lacey Keck and the Watson's Chapel Church Choir. Interment in Keck Cemetery.
