From The Knoxville News Sentinel 19 Mar 2005 DAY, MR. JAMES W. - age 83, of New Tazewell, Tn. passed away on March 17, 2005 at Claiborne County Hospital. He was a member of MCM Baptist Church. Veteran of WWII. Retired from Claiborne County Hospital after 20 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Dossie CUPP Day; parents, Ingram and Mary Day; brother, Earl Day and sister, Virgie Maples. He is survived by his son and daughter-in- law, Charles Loy and Bonnie Day of Tazewell; daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. James Lee (Ruth) Webb of Maryville, TN.; daughter, Danna Day of New Tazewell, Tn.; grandchildren, Ricky & Indy Webb, Suzanne & Stacey Anders, Stacie & Claude Greene, Shelley & Scott Stooksbury; great grandchildren, Samantha Webb, baby boy Webb, Aaron & Gracie Reed, Collin & Mabry Anders, Jonah & Clay Stooksbury; brothers, Don Day of Maynardville, Tn and LeRoy Day of Texas. Family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Sat., March 19, 2005 at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral service: 2:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Russell and Rev.
